What are the advantages of teenage pregnancy?

i doing a debate on teenage pregnancy. i'm not against it. so i need some strong points as to, the advantages of a teen becoming pregnant. What are the advantages of teenage pregnancy?
It could make the teen more responsible, more dedicated to finishing school, getting a job %26amp; being self-dependant. (that's not always the case though)What are the advantages of teenage pregnancy?
15/16 is the natural age for women to have children, therefore they are at their most fertile (unless sterile) and are usually in the best state to carry a child (however some girls have late development and this isn't always true).

Also, girls are at a good balance of energy/maturity to look after children.

HOWEVER most of the points I've made are influenced by modern society and now girls bodies are adapting to their new environment and aren't prepared in time.

Another point is that a young mother can protect her baby for longer, and can also help in the raising of grandchildren if she is still fairly young).

Women these days are no longer seen as housewives and child bearers and so do not generally see it as socially acceptable to have children as a teen, but there is nothing wrong with it!

At one point in time women would have appeared unusual to not have borne a child by 18 (maybe even 16!)

Remember, you can say anything as long as you back it up with facts or other evidence
I don't really think there are any advantages per say, but I'm not against it. I suppose you could say that you have more energy and you will have more time (longer life) with your child than an older mother would provided you don't die young of course.

This one is a long shot but - being a teenage mother/father makes you grow up and learn responsibility to things like underage drinking, drug use and crime rates may go down.
maturity. You learn to take care of a baby and mature in order to properly take care of one.

Responsibility%26gt; you have to be responsible [in most cases] when it comes to money, and taking care of your baby. You also are responsible for deciding what you want to do with your baby.

You gain strength%26gt; what doesn't kill us makes us stronger

That's all I can think of right now [i'm distracted by my tv lmao]

good luck on your debate :)
I am a teen mother.

The advantages are-

1:You mature alot faster then the others.

2:you will be young and smartenough too take in what you need too as they grow.

3:You gain tons of responsibilty.

4: You get a gift from god that no one or anything can give you.

(:

Goodluck with the debate!
advantages?

Like what do the gain from it?

They learn that sex wasn't the best idea. They have to grow up and become parents. They also learn to respect their parents because they now know what it's like to take care of a child. It not, Wake Up, feed, Go to bed, feed, go to bed. It's much MORE and there are so many things you need to provide.

It can make you stronger but can break you down

BUT ME I WOUDLN'T GO THROUGH THAT AS A TEEN

SEE I'LL HAVE A RING ON MY FINGER

A MAN BY MY SIDE

AND YES WE WILL HAVE SEX AFTER WE ARE MARRIED

BUT YEAH NOT BEING A SLUT IS OLD FASHIONED RIGHT???
I don't know if this is technically an advantage. But research suggest that children who are born from mothers under 25 have a much higher chance of living to 100 years of age. I was flipping through channels the other day,and some doctor was talking about that. Dunno how true that is,but neat I suppose.
you mature faster, get more perspective on life, um... have a sense of accomplisment when you take care of your babay, gett he love of a baby in return

thats all i can think of

personally, i dont think theres anything good about been a teen parent
the only things i can think of is that your not going to be to old to do things with them, and health risks such a down syndrome are are very low. other then that there is NONE!
You got the short straw there..lolz

I think there is none..maybe one: you are more likely to bond with your child when its growing up - as you are only like 16yrs or whatever older than it...you can ''be down with the cool kids''lol
You'd be closer to the age of your son/daughter so the generation gap is smaller, thus providing a closer and more secure relationship.
That was extremely stupid to choose. Because there are no advantages. The other person who has disadvantages is definetley going to win.
you have a baby you can love and will love you oh youll probally one day have great grand kids...

and theyll think you understand them better since your young.
Perhaps being able to relate to the child more as you are younger and the risk of certain disorders are reduced.
That the parent will be able to understand their child more when they reach their teen years :)
You still know everything
There aren't any advantages of being a teen parent.
there is no advantage. at all.

even pregnant teens themselves, or people who had a baby as a teen will agree with the fact that there are no advantages
My Cousin And Friend Got Their Figures Back Very Quick !

Urmm Think That's About It :)

X
There aren't any! Sorry! I can give you plenty of DISadvantages though!
Advantages? I dont think there is none.
There are none. You have to put your child before yourself at so young. There is no advantage to that
