Why did America become a teenage wasteland?

How did we come to this? The moral decay in our society is rampant. The slobification of America will mean the end. All societies eventually crumble under their own weight. It's all downhill from here.Why did America become a teenage wasteland?
2 reasons....Money and Darwinism.





The number one reason we lost our moral values is that we became so rich that we could afford it. Through most of human history there was not enough wealth to support irresponsible behavior. If you did drugs, had babies out of wedlock and didn't work then you died. Today we can afford to live that way.





We also used to believe in God and religion. Today people believe that we are nothing but a bunch of monkeys created by accident and God is a lie. Therefore, there is no real purpose to life. There is no reason to live so you might as well just maximize your hedonistic pleasure. Nothing really matters if there is no God and no after life.Why did America become a teenage wasteland?
I agree. It saddens me to see how my country has become more and more morally bankrupt over the years.





We have been giving up ground for years. More and more good is being called evil and evil is being called good.





We as a society have become numb to the appaling changes that are taking place right here in America, daily.
Well, aren't you just a ray of sunshine?





You look for what you expect out of life.





I see the youth of America being energized by Obama's political campaign.





I see them going on marathons to help the poor and the sick.





I see them protesting violence.





I see them saying, ';We want to learn.';








I guess my eyes are just better than yours.
You know, Dear Abby printed a letter, some time back, that complained of the exact same thing.





Talked about how the youth of today are slobs, have no respect for their elders, talk like morons, etc.

We all feel that way about the next generation!
America is not a teenage wasteland. America is a big shopping mall that emphasizes material possessions = success thus blinding it's own people from the principles and family values that are morally correct.
