At what age do teenage boys usually start living with their dad? ?

My sister's son wants to live with his dad at 16. He already started the school year and is in sports, has friends, etc. His dad lives 40 min. away. He is getting a rebellious and won't listen to her. But his father hasn't always been a dad, more like a friend. He also has 2 brothers at his dad's. Is this common for older boys to do? What do you think?At what age do teenage boys usually start living with their dad? ?
It's just your nephew wanting to be more independent. Ask him to finish the semester, and move him if that's what he wants and his dad will take him.
