Is it possible for a teenage guy to feel isolated?

I have a large family and have 8 brothers.

I am wondering whether it is possible that one of my brothers could feel isolated and not loved due to not having enough attention?

I heard of the healing power of a person touching another person like how when a mom touches her child who is sick the child feels a lot better.

Maybe he needs to be touched to know he is loved? Is it possible for a teenage guy to feel isolated?
Some people do not like to be touched but a hug is a hug when it is needed. You have to spend a little positive time with him. Quite often, it is easy to forget a quiet one so a little positive attention goes a long way, i.e. help with schoolwork, take him swimming, play a little footie, go fishing, play a computer game with him, whatever his interest. Its sometimes tough being young and easy to fall into the background in a large family. Sometimes having a responsibility helps. Like a paper round, or doing a regular chore for pocket money.
