Why is it that teenage girls dress with their stomachs hanging out?

You know the ones that have the roll hanging over their pants.They are forever trying to hold their pants up. Is this a new fashion statement that im not aware of?Why is it that teenage girls dress with their stomachs hanging out?
Thats because all of our models are a size 0-2 that wear pants like this. Heres a thought, try showing our girls normal sizes and maybe they will have a better example to follow :).Why is it that teenage girls dress with their stomachs hanging out?
That is nasty, when they have a muffintop all hanging out. Yeah, pretty uncalled for. And they then get mad when you say something about it and I'm like Cover it up if you don't want me to say anything about it.

It's the low rise look my friend, and usually it's the ones who don't have the body for it who rock them.





Teenagers are fools, I was one myself. One day they will learn. As a kid we did foolish like that. We wore feathers on our clothes, lace elbow length Madonna style gloves. Hopefully the trend ends soon. I am sick of it myself.
if you shake that toned body in them i say great! but if there is rolls hanging out well.....thats just plain wrong.
Unfortunately we live in a culture where sex is all too prevalent among young people. Girls feel the need to show more and more flesh to look ';good';, while guys are pressured into pushing the girls they know further and further whether they want to or not, for fear of being ridiculed as a virgin by their so-called friends.


I have two cousins, one boy and one girl, who are both sixteen. They each feel under pressure in different ways. My girl cousin is dating an 18 year old guy who is lovely and doesnt put any pressure on her whatsoever, but she feels her own friends put pressure on her to go farther and farther with him just because he is older and it is ';expected'; of them. My boy cousin hasn't had a girlfriend yet and is the only one of his friends who is a virgin (or at least admits to it) - there are plenty of girls interested in him but he doesn't like any of them, yet asked me the other day fi he should just go out with one of them so as not to be the last virgin in his year!


I am only 21 - this was not as big an issue when I was sixteen, was it? My friends and I got excited if we just managed to kiss the guy we liked, and holding hands or spending some time alone together was a bonus! Sex was an element too of course, but it wasn't a reason to date someone!

well i would have to blame this one on TV shows and magazines they're so eager to push the fact that sex sells , we have very popular TV shows among young and old like ';America's next top model, American idol, reality TV young girls look up to shows like this because they want to look good trying to find them self to fit certain mold (pretty, popular even sexy),all of this come w the age but then again times had change so it is a combo of everything...and the fact that low ride pants are IN';....don't b so hard judging them ,we all went through that stage in our lives.
This is because they're fitting their pants to their butt and hips (most of the time, none of them have either), but in the meantime the pants are too tight around their waist. With 80% of American's being overweight, this extends to the kids, and with the style being ';wear extremely tight clothes because it's sexy';, they mix the two up and you're left with a muffin top.








I'm glad I'm in that 20% range that still dress in my own size, not 5 sizes too small for me.
New trend wear
I think it's disgusting. I see it too. I meen, if u have a short shirt, wear a tank top underneath it, or don't wear it at all. I mean, girls should be embarassed but they obviously aren't. It's like, please don't b so darn revealing and maybe do a few sit-ups! (Not being mean...)
No. The new fashion statement is longer shirts. So they're just unstylish. Not everyone dresses in good styles
because they mistake the stares of disgust and disbelief for something else. they think they look good and it doesn't help when the media plasters half naked stick figures everywhere and says you should look like this......
yuck i dont do that.. tell them to SUCK IT IN!! and no it is NOT a new fashion statement and it never will be..

SOME TEENAGE GIRLS do that 2 impress cute guys or they r just 2 fat.....lol. if it was a fasion statement i wouldnt do that 4 all the money in the world!!!!!! lol
Low rise jeans have been IN for over 10 years now!


I remember being horrified by ';little girls'; dressing like sex kittens.Baring all .I think stomachs are beautiful things large or small but do we need to expose the most sensitive and vulnerable areas of children to all adults to see?. But on the other hand ,try being them at school ?


If wearing high waisted pants means being label-ed a dumb daggy girl not at all popular at the school? what would you wear? Which is horrific to confident ';safe from the school yard ';Adult ,but in the main School is the ultimate fashion police check.

Considering that most females are fat anyway. Instead of hiding it or doing something about it they just get fatter and like to show everyone because they think they are just so cute. Besides smelling also they think that when someone looks at them they like them but what they dont understand because they are not old enough to, they dont realize that we are laughing at them. Go around with a can of spray paint in your pocket and everytime you see a fat broad showing off here flab, spray paint it. Thats right, whip out the spray can and let her have it right on that fat stomach. One down....5 million to go.
okie dokie ... well the whole fat roll thing makes me want to vomit ... but the low-rise jeans are all the rave now ... that and skinny jeans .. (gag) .. but if you can get away with only showing like less than 1/2 and inch of tummy that is worthy of being seen i dont see what is wrong with it ... the whole having to pull up your jeans thing is i guess a bit of the girls trying to be gangster like their male counterparts .. but im not totally sure ... mostly here its girls who have pants so tight you just cant help but pray that their a$$ doesnt pop out of their jeans or the zipper dont bust .. it is but it isnt a fashion thing ..

It is a sad result of poorly teaching children ';self esteem,'; that everyone is beautiful no matter what, that is is okay to not take care of yourself. These poor, unhelathy, overweight children are very sad to see.
