How do you make the coca cola necklace from confessions of a teenage drama queen?

i want to make it the same way with detailed steps because i think the way her chain hang with the bottle caps was so cool and i want a necklace that is equal cool.How do you make the coca cola necklace from confessions of a teenage drama queen?

First, that was the closet picture I could find of something like the one she has.


What you want to do it to get a few toilet chains (the actual necklace part is called a toilet chain),


and then make sure it fits around your neck exactly where you want it to hang.


If it's too long then just cut a couple links off or whatever.


Now you want three bottle caps that are cute and ones you like..


Really..the actual necklace around your neck is only going to be attached to the top two bottle caps (you will probably need some hot glue for this project).


First glue the two top bottle caps in place..


and cut a small piece to glue inbetween the top two bottle caps (like in the picture).


Now cut four equal chains,


and connect two of them to each of the top bottle caps and connect both sets of chains to the bottom on.


For your last step..cut two equal chains (a little bit long..to your liking) and hang them where ever you'd like off of each of the two top caps..


and then cut two equal chains, and another one, that is a tiny bit longer,


and glue them to the bottom of the bottom cap.

I also suggest filling the entire back of the bottle cap with hot glue, and pushing something flat on before it dries so the back of the bottle cap is flat..and it will ensure that the chains won't come loose and break off.





Oh also...if you don't know how to use a hot glue gun...get someone to help you out.
