Teenage girls make the common mistake of drinking too many big, sugary drinks. I see it in the mall all the time. Resist that temptation and drink water. Don't go to the food court or eat fast food for lunch. Bring a healthy lunch. Eat breakfast. Did you know that kellog's bran flakes with raisins has more iron than a steak? It's important for woman too eat enriched cereals in the morning with skim milk in the morning.


Eat lots of low-fat healthy food. Read the labels and look at the amount of fat grams per serving. Eg. Salad dressing has more fat than a Big Mac.


Walk 30-40 minutes a day or do some kind of exercise that you like. And then just be really consistant and do it each day. Don't diet. It's a lifestyle change. Really, its the little things that make you lose weight like not putting butter on your toast or not putting mayonaise on your sandwitches. Or avoided that bottle of Coke. All those little things add up. But eat lots and lots.


PS. Fastest way is not the best way. I lost 70 pounds and it took 70 weeks and have kept it off for over five years.

You should go running in the morning every day before school and for at least three weeks...If you keep going in the morning nonstop it will become a habit...you don't have to run a mile just run around your block..start slow then get faster each week
