plaid is always punk, and its really cute when done with the right colors, maybe do a plaid border on the top and paint the walls with the color that is in the plaid--a teal is really cute.


or if you do circles like bubbles on the wall--when done right can be really cute and edgy at the same time. i got an amazing black and pink bedspread at kohls for pretty cheap.


and accesories that might work would be shelves, so she can put things on them, shelves always add character to a wall, and perhaps a desk or area in the room for whatever her hobbies may be.

Bold colors in trendy patterns seem all the rage. My teenager loves the loud bedspreads with swirls of colors. A couple of accent pillows in interesting materials and shapes are great to add, as well as a lamp with a solid shade that brings out one of the lesser emphasized colors in the bedspread pattern. If the walls need some attention you can easily paint square canvases a solid color to hang as a block of attention for the wall. A french memory board (material covered boards with ribbon %26amp; buttons to hold pictures %26amp; papers in place) is also great to have. We found some great ones at Target.
stripes on the walls are always fun, get some stripes of your fav colors. as for the bedspreads, you can still stick with some stripes. accessories...umm striped or solid colored lamps, if u go with the solid color it should be one color from the stripes. uhm...a vanity mirror and seat with similar colors. posters of fav rock bands framed. stuff like that. hope i helped =]

Go to the Disney paint section in home depot they have some of the best wall colors. I say go for soft sheets with blue black, or some other solid color quilt, with cork boards on the wall for pictures.
