i get payed 5 bucks an hour that like min wage so don't listen to other ppl cuz they tring to get more money out of you but if your kid is like hard to handle like super rowdy then rasie to like 6 or 7. well if this is like a nanny job then i think 9 hours plus gas money.
Depends on how many kids, and how long you are going to be gone. Whether or not she is going to have to stay overnight. I would say, 2.50 per hour, per kid.
min. wage... less your kid is a pain then pay more to keep them coming back... :-)
I live in southwestern wisconsin.....my friend pays her sitter $5/hr for one child. If the other child is there, then it goes up to $7/hr.

A good rule of thumb is $2.00 per hour per child but NEVER less than $5.00. So if you have one child and you're gone for an hour.....pay $5.00. If you're gone for two hours pay$5.00. After that pay $2.00 an hour per child.





I also think if the teen babysitter is driving you should pay the babysitting fee PLUS the equivalent of one gallon of gas.





This was our fee schedule and we never had a babysitter turn us down.
Ide say bout 6 bux an hour, if they do very decent job you could raise it lil.
